Quick Translator (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our Chrome Extension.

    • Text Translation: When you select text and click the translate button, that specific selected text is sent securely to the translation API (Google Translate) solely for the purpose of returning a translation. We do not intercept, store, or log this text on any external servers owned by us.
    • Local Storage: We use Chrome’s local storage (chrome.storage.local) to save your language preferences (e.g., your chosen target language and UI language). This data never leaves your device.

  2. Data Sharing We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information or browsing habits to outside parties. The selected text is only shared with the translation provider necessary to perform the core function of the extension.

  3. Analytics and Tracking Quick Translator does not use any third-party analytics trackers, and we do not track your browsing history or behavior across websites.

  4. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date.
